CALL FOR PAPERS
Ekpoma Journal of Social Science invites original research articles, case studies, theoretical papers, literature reviews, and book reviews in the following subject areas:
- Sociology
- Political Science
- Public Administration
- Psychology
- Economics
- International Relations
- Development Studies
- Management and Organizational Studies
- Criminology and Security Studies
- Gender and Development
- Media and Communication Studies
- Urban and Regional Planning
- Social Work
- Environmental Policy and Governance
Interdisciplinary and comparative studies that explore contemporary social, economic, political, and developmental issues especially within African contexts are highly encouraged.
Submission Guidelines
Manuscripts Should Include:
- Title of the article
- Author(s)’ full name(s)
- Institutional affiliation(s)
- Contact email(s) and phone number(s)
- Abstract: Not exceeding 250 words
- Keywords: 5–6 relevant terms
Formatting Requirements:
- Language: English
- Length: Maximum of 18 pages
- Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt
- Spacing: 1.5 line spacing (single spacing for abstract and block quotes)
- File Format: Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx)
- Referencing Style: APA 7th edition
- Plagiarism Check: Manuscripts must not exceed 20% similarity (Turnitin or equivalent)
- Currency of References: At least 70% of cited works should be published within the last 10 years, except where older sources are critical to the subject matter
- Citation of Indigenous Authors: Strongly encourage

- Review Fee: ₦5,000 (non-refundable; due at submission)
- Publication Fee: ₦25,000 (due upon acceptance)
