Insight: Journal of Religious Studies invites scholars and researchers to submit high-quality, original research articles within the journal’s scope. Submissions should provide fresh perspectives on religious studies, including Biblical Studies, Systematic Theology, Comparative Religion, Christian Ministry, Missiology, Contemporary Religious Issues, and Interdisciplinary Studies.

Submission Guidelines

To ensure a smooth review and publication process, authors must adhere to the following submission requirements:

1. Language & Word Limit
  • All manuscripts must be written in English.
  • Articles should not exceed 4,500 words (including references and appendices).
2. Formatting Requirements
  • Software: Manuscripts must be prepared using Microsoft Word.
  • Font: Use Times New Roman, 12-point font size for the entire document, including headings and endnotes.
  • Paragraphs & Quotations:
    • Begin new paragraphs with a one-tab space indentation.
    • Use two-tab spaces for block quotations.
    • Avoid using the spacebar for indentation—use the Tab key instead.
  • Code-Free Submission: Do not embed any special formatting codes to ensure ease of editing.
3. Referencing & Documentation
  • Citation Style: Insight follows the Turabian endnote referencing style.
  • Special Fonts: If your article includes special fonts, ensure they are properly embedded in the document.
4. Cover Page & Digital Submission

To facilitate efficient communication with the editorial team, each submission must include a separate cover page with the following details:

  • Full Title of the article (in CAPITAL LETTERS)
  • Full Name(s) of the Author(s), including academic degrees
  • Institutional Affiliation & Academic Department
  • E-mail Address(es)
  • Phone Number(s) (with country code if outside Nigeria)
