Journal of Education, Communication, and Digital Humanities is a peer-reviewed academic journal published by the Department of Education, Babcock University, Ilishan-Remo, Ogun State, Nigeria, and hosted by African University Journals and Prints. It welcomes high-quality submissions for its Volume 1, Number 1, June 2025. The journal publishes two issues annually (May/June and November/December) and is dedicated to presenting impactful interdisciplinary research across Education, Communication, Language, Literature, and Digital Humanities. The journal is indexed in major academic platforms such as Google Scholar, OpenAIRE, Zenodo, ScienceGate, CrossRef, Web of Science, Academia.edu, and PKP, it offers both print and online Open Access formats, with Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) assigned to every article.

Scope of the Journal

We welcome submissions in both English and French in, but not limited to, the following areas:

Education: Educational technology, policy, pedagogy, curriculum, and teacher development
Communication: Digital and intercultural communication, journalism, PR, media literacy
Digital Humanities: Computational approaches to humanities, digital archives, textual analysis
Language and Literature: Technology in language learning, comparative literature, literary theory, cultural narratives

We accept empirical studies, theoretical explorations, case studies, literature reviews, and critical essays that contribute meaningfully to knowledge in these fields.

Submission Guidelines

Cover Page should include:
- Title of the article
- Author(s)’ full name(s)
- Institutional affiliation(s)
- Email address(es) and phone number(s)
Abstract: Maximum of 250 words
Keywords: 5–6 keywords listed after the abstract
Language: English or French

Formatting:

Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt
Line Spacing: 1.5 throughout; single spacing for abstract and block quotations
Length: Maximum of 18 pages
Referencing Style:
- APA 7th edition
- MLA 9th edition
Plagiarism: Must not exceed 20% (checked with Turnitin)
File Format: Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx)

Authors are advised to cite indigenous authors as much as possible and a minimum of 70% of the total references should not be more than 10 years old except in exceptional cases
