Abstract

The integration of digital simulation tools in Physics education presents transformative opportunities for conceptual understanding, particularly in contexts where traditional laboratory infrastructure is limited. This chapter examines the application of virtual laboratories, interactive simulations, and augmented/virtual reality technologies in teaching abstract Physics concepts within Nigerian educational settings. Drawing on pedagogical frameworks and empirical evidence, the chapter addresses both the affordances of these digital tools and the contextual challenges of implementation in resource-constrained environments. Through case studies and practical examples, this work demonstrates how digital simulations can bridge the gap between theoretical Physics instruction and experiential learning, while proposing sustainable models for adoption across Nigerian secondary schools and tertiary institutions.
